WHere is a home-style version of a cocktail from a new drinks list. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that's loaded with tastes associated with Christmas time, which makes it excellent for hosting a celebration. Any leftover citrus syrup you can use for brunch beverages, desserts, or to make more rounds of the drink.

Serves 10 servings
To make the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
For the Drink (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (as made above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish

Making the Cordial: Combine all the components in a pot, bring to a simmer, mixing to dissolve. After that, remove from the burner and leave to cool fully. Decant into a sterilised bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, where it will keep for about four weeks.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Pour the specified spirits and syrup into a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, so it's completely strained.
For serving: Add 85ml of the cocktail base into your stirring glass containing ice, and agitate gently for one minute until cold. Filter into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of mandarin oil over the top.
